Beggining of the universe

The beginning of the universe has, of course, been discussed for a long time, so here is my view. Many religions have had a say in this for e.g. God, Adam and Eve. They say that the universe was started a finite time ago and that time was not very long ago. One argument for such a beginning was the feeling that it was necessary to have a first cause to explain the existence of the universe. Another argument was put forward by St. Augustine in his book The City of God. He pointed out that civilization is progressing, and we remember who performed this deed or developed the technique. Thus man, and so also perhaps the universe could not have been around all that long. For otherwise we would have already progressed more than we have. However, floods and other disasters are a few pointers that repeatedly set the human race right back to the beginning of civilization. So his argument is kinda senseless. One of the greatest arguments that I often use is that of Edwin Hubble. He said that stars are moving away from us rapidly or we can say the universe is expanding. Thus it would not be wrong to say that in earlier times the universe would have been closer and there must have been a time when they were all exactly at the same place. When the universe was infinitesimally small and therefore infinitely dense ( we call it the Big Bang).  The things that happened before this won't affect the present so we can ignore them. People can say God created the universe or might have been created due to physics as there are physical reasons why there had to be a beginning in an expanding universe. But whatever you suppose the universe couldn't have been created before the big bang. That is it. BEGINNING OF THE UNIVERSE.
