Summer Teen Diaries: My Summer TBR ☀️🌊📚

Welcome to Summer Teen Diaries—where I document all the fun, adventures, and of course, books that are making my summer unforgettable! Whether it’s road trips, late-night bonfires, or just chilling in my room with a great read, this is my space to share it all. And what better way to kick things off than with my summer TBR?

. Frankly speaking , summer is my absolute favorite season. Why? Ice pops, beach days, summer activities, swimming,. Long, lazy afternoons, the sound of waves (or maybe just a fan humming in the background), and the perfect book in hand—  what's not to love? it’s the ultimate escape .This year, my TBR is packed with adventure, drama, mystery, and nostalgia. Whether I’m in the mood for a feel-good reread or a thrilling new story, I’ve got something for every summer vibe. Here’s what I’ll be reading!

🌿 Where the Red Fern Grows – I’m kicking off summer with a classic reread. This story about a boy and his two loyal dogs is heartfelt, emotional, and unforgettable. It’s the perfect book to remind me why I fell in love with reading in the first place—though I already know I’ll need tissues by the end. This is my absolute favorite book . 

🏚 The House Across the Lake – Nothing screams summer thriller like a creepy lakeside mystery. This one promises suspense, dark secrets, and unexpected twists. I love a good book that keeps me guessing, so I’m excited to see how this one plays out.

🌊 Malibu Rising – Sun, surf, and scandal? Yes, please. This book is set in 1980s California and follows the story of four famous siblings as their glamorous lives start to unravel at a wild summer party.  I’m here for it.

🎭 Six of Crows – A daring heist, a crew of outcasts, and a city filled with danger—what more could I ask for? Everyone raves about this book, and I’m finally diving into the world of Kaz Brekker and his team of criminals. 

🗝 The Inheritance Games – A billionaire dies and leaves his fortune to a girl who has no idea why? And she has to live in a mansion full of puzzles, secrets, and a mysterious (and slightly chaotic) family? Sounds like the perfect fast-paced read to keep me on my toes..

With this lineup, my summer is looking so good! I can’t wait to get lost in these stories, whether it’s a heartwarming classic, a thrilling mystery, . Have you read any of these? What’s on your summer TBR? i will also give reviews after completing them ☀️📚💛
